Touch Bionics has developed a unique mobile device application that allows users to quickly and easily change the configuration of their Touch Bionics prosthesis, without the need to log in to a PC.

With the biosim app, users can create groups of their favorite grip patterns and triggers and can then access those favorites with a single tap. This can be useful for creating sets of features that the wearer finds useful in certain situations: at home or at work, for example.

Most of the main features of the biosim PC software are also included, allowing selection of grip patterns, triggers and viewing a real-time graph of the wearer's muscle signals.

The exciting biosim app is part of the Touch Care program and is provided along with an iPod Touch when a prosthesis wearer participates in the Patient Care Pathway.
