Touch Bionics welcomes new CEO

Livingston, UK and Hilliard, OH - Touch Bionics, developer of advanced upper-limb prosthetic technologies, today announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer. Ian Stevens has taken over as CEO from Stuart Mead, who led Touch Bionics through its formative years as a commercial organisation.

Stevens joins Touch Bionics from medical devices companies Mpathy Medical, where he served as CEO from 2007-2010, and Optos, where he served as CFO and then General Manager, North America from 1998-2007.

"I am very pleased to be joining Touch Bionics at such an important point in the company's evolution," said Stevens. "I am looking forward to working with the team at Touch Bionics to ensure that the company enjoys continued success."
