Touch Bionics to showcase latest product developments at AAOP

Touch Bionics today announced its latest product developments to be demonstrated at this week's Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists in Atlanta.

The company will be introducing two new wrist options for the i-limb™ ultra, called i-limb ultra flex, which allows the wearer to position the hand in flexion or extension, and i-limb ultra multi-flex, which allows the wearer to benefit from multi-directional wrist flexibility.

Also on display at AAOP will be a handheld device controller for thei-limb ultra, which provides users with the ability to change hand settings quickly and easily while on the move.

Touch Bionics will also demonstrate the latest release of its biosim prosthesis control software, which includes new features designed to improve ease of use and accessibility.

"The flexible wrist options, upgraded software and handheld device controller are intended to provide wearers of our prostheses with increased independence and satisfaction."

Also on display will be virtu-limb™, the recently launched prosthetic training and simulation tool, i-limb digits, the partial hand solution, and livingskin™, the company's range of passive functional prostheses.

Touch Bionics will be located at Booth #49/50 and will be running a product workshop on Wednesday, March 21st, from 8:30am to 12:30pm in Room 213.
