Scott Sabolich Prosthetics & Research is a family-owned and -operated clinic and prides itself on being more concerned with the patient and their families than the bottom line. Third-generation prosthetist Scott Sabolich, CP, LP, is owner and clinical director of the company, well known for its innovative and personal style of care.

The clinic is located in Oklahoma City, but 40% of its patients come from outside the state of Oklahoma, from 42 states and several foreign countries. With 4,000 patients and 30 staff including two upper-limb specialists, Scott Sabolich Prosthetics & Research is the largest single-site prosthetic facility in the United States.

The Sabolich name has been synonymous with providing cutting-edge technology for its patients and continues to update the original Sabolich Socket design patented by John Sabolich, certified prosthetist orthotist, in the mid 1990s.

Making use of new developments like those by Touch Bionics is also vital to keeping the clinic at the forefront of patient care and the company is proud to be one of the first clinics to fit patients with the i-LIMB Hand.

Upon being fitted with Touch Bionics’ i-LIMB Hand for the first time, Scott Sabolich patient Lindsay Block, a congenital below-elbow amputee, beamed with excitement. “It looks much more natural than my myoelectric arm and the grip is more natural too,” she said as she laced her fingers together, something she had never been able to do in the past.
