At the Touch Bionics Center of Excellence, located in Scotland, you will be at the heart of our organisation – with your case being reviewed and managed by both Touch Bionics’ clinical and development teams. It is this interaction that sets a Centre of Excellence apart from many other type of clinical establishments - fast track access to the prosthesis experts.
Touch Bionics Centre of Excellence offers a full clinical service to upper limb amputees. Our team of highly skilled professionals are on hand to help you every step of the way. Our service is tailored to each individual’s needs, managed by the “Touch Life Total Care Programme”, taking the range of prosthetic solutions into account from the high tech to simple devices for specific tasks.
We offer assessments, recommendations, insurance reimbursement support and occupational therapy. We also hope that our clients will be open for participating in product trials to help us improve the lives of users all over the world. This is why we encourage all of the people that we work with to participate in case studies and (where possible) outcome studies.
Our resident team of clinical and support staff will ensure that the appropriate technology is provided and that patients and relatives/carers alike are looked after in our specialist facility. A prosthetic rehabilitation team is formed for each case and is responsible for the clinic’s ‘total care’ approach.
Before visiting our facility we will perform a remote case evaluation under the guidance of one of our in-house prosthetic experts.
